Communication objective
I developed a relationship between image and type and linked them through the grid system to create a new typographic element. I collaged two different images together — buildings and roots. I used the grid pattern of the windows in the buildings and combined them with the chaotic and organic pattern of the roots to create the text in the poster’s title. This text springs from the rooftops like antenna and forms the phrase "90s Hong Kong.".

Tools Used
I used Adobe® Illustrator® CS2 to create the logotype on the top of the poster, but I mainly used Adobe Photoshop® CS2 to collage the images together and re-create the title with the antenna.
