Communication objective
This poster promotes a metal music sampler released by the record label Ironcaste Records. The goal with all of the Ironcaste work was to give metal music a new face: no gothic type, no skulls, no black. The music that Ironcaste publishes is metal, but with a slick, modern edge. I intended this poster to reflect that and to communicate the idea of heavy metal without resorting to cliche.

Tools used
I used Adobe® Photoshop® to composite a number of photographs together into the final background art. The primary type was created in Illustrator® and final layout, body text, and production were done in InDesign®.
