Communication objective
The title of the project is "The temperature of my mind in 2006” and it uses a thermometer as its central metaphor. 2006 was a time to assess the personal challenges I recently overcame. I classified all the diaries I had written then by the kinds of emotion expressed (happy, gloomy, angry, and wishful) and assigned each a different hue (yellow, gray, red, and brown) to each. I further expressed the emotional intensity with different levels of brightness for each hue. The poster tracks the dates I wrote in my diary, the minutes spent, and illustrates my frame of mind.

Tools used
I used Adobe® Illustrator® for my entire project. I relied on the pen tool and rectangle tool to make the basic units and then used the align tool for detailed work. Because the project was very large while individual elements making up the image were small, I constantly used both the align and zoom tools.
