Communication objective
Is big bang theory really that different from the account of the creation found in the modern Bible? My objective was to illustrate that they are in fact very similar. "And God said" seems to be the only main difference. A modern day professor gets the chance to go back in time and "correct" Moses' account of creation recorded in Genesis. The difficulty he has in teaching modern concepts to an ancient race underscores the fact that science and religion aren't really that far apart in their views.
Tools used
I spent 90% of the time on this project inside of Adobe® After Effects®. Because one actor plays every character, the project required many layers of compositing. I created each character’s look using a combination of motion tracking, mesh warp and the bulge filter. I keyed, rotoscoped, motion tracked, warped, color corrected, and composited elements using After Effects®. |
