Eduardo Cohn’s background is equivalent to an international man of mystery, without the mystery. Born in Argentina, raised in Germany and Spain, he is now currently residing in NYC, in pursuit of an MFA in directing/screenwriting from Columbia University. In his past, he has worked in various projects, from documentaries and TV productions, to narrative feature films. He came onto the project when the director’s vision was in dire need of technical mastery. Currently, Eduardo is completing editing his second thesis film at Columbia. In his free time from all the screens in his life, he enjoys reading (his eyesight proves it).
This is the trailer for the Columbia University Film Festival of 2013. It is a piece reminiscent of old school Hollywood Filmmaking that speaks for itself.
The objective was to introduce the Columbia Film Festival to the public.
Adobe Premiere: Editing. The connection between Premiere and After Effects was essential as we shot on the F3 with a gemini recorder in DPX format. No other NLE can use that workflow. Adobe After Effects: AE was essential to create the effects for such an effect heavy production.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, After Effects CS6
We would like to thank Columbia University’s faculty and students for giving us the opportunity to make this trailer!
